The Senior Vice President of Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization's sales function. The SVP is accountable for overall sales performance, the profitable achievement of the company’s goals, and for aligning sales objectives with the company’s business strategy. The SVP Sales reports directly to the COO.
● Developing immediate and practical experience in securing new sales and vetting new approaches in a growing but developed market
● Managing a sales territory and retiring corresponding quota
● Driving the implementation of effective Sales strategies and policies:
● Implementing strategic sales activities. Providing regular updates to Sales Leadership
● Researching and analyzing environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends. Recommending strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensuring strategic sales plans complement marketplace needs.
● Ensuring sales activities are cost effective, efficient, and are performed within established budget constraints.
● Providing recommendations for improvements in sales and service delivery, programs, and procedures.
● Ensuring existing customers are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policies.
● Developing strong relationships with all customers, trade professionals, and external contacts.
● Establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company’s internal departments and teams.
